In view of International Children’s Rights Day (November 20th), an event took place on Sunday 19th November 2017 at our school, from the Children’s Nursery, Kindergarten and Kindergarten of KDAP.
Many games, a visual workshop, fairytale presentations, and “trips” to Rwanda are some of the actions that took place in the schools, overwhelming the atrium of the school by children, parents and actions.
The children presented songs relevant to the particular day, donate books they had brought from their library while in the closing were caught small hand big hand and opened a big hug for all the children of the world.
Representatives of organizations supporting the child and his rights (such as SOS Children’s Villages, The Smile of the Child and ActionAid) and child psychologist, Mrs. Carolina Folle- Alepi, were there in order to hold group discussions with parents.
It was a morning full of joy, creativity and certainly lots of smiles! Expressions such as “We Have Funted It More”, “We were really troubled by the trip to Rwanda …” and “We also felt for a while” were some of the parents’ comments.
